Although this was done for a project, I really like it for its stillness.

This was taken at Habitat in Belmont, MA.

My white bleeding heart is nowhere near as large as my red ones, but it certainly is lovely.

I passed by this little cemetery on a a grey day, and the azalea just jumped out at me.

I do adore this field. I thought it looked especially lovely this week, when the trees were all wearing their spring colors.

This was the watercolor set that my kids used.

I take pictures of tulips in this vase every year. This was one of my more successful attempts, I think.

These trees are at the entrance to Applewood just off Route 111 in Boxborough. Today they looked particularly interesting with the late afternoon light illuminating one side of each trunk and then casting shadows behind.

My fingers were almost frozen as well after I stood outside and shot dozens of pictures.

This was taken at the Boote Mill in Lowell. I love Lowell and used to work there in one of the mill buildings. I have an entire set of pictures of Lowell on my flickr website.

Last year my photography club introduced me to Harrisville, NH, which is a lovely little village in the middle of nowhere. This was my second visit there.

Great Meadows is a wildlife refuge and one of my favorite local haunts.

I love sunflowers, and I photograph them often. I thought this one looked as if it were soaring.

I went to a street fair in Worcester and started talking to this guitarist. I asked if I could take his picture, and he said sure.

It's midnight, and the moon is full. Click to see the larger size, and you will see the stars. Gosh, I love summer.

I'm trying to get better at shooting landscapes, so I've been out this summer taking pictures of the river, of marshes, and of other nearby landforms.

I went on my first night photoshoot last night. I had great fun. I've always loved this old movie theatre and was happy to get a picture of it.

Flowers aren't the only natural subject I love to photograph.

My half-empty bottle of water had been sitting in the hot car and had a fascinating pattern of water droplets inside.

It's fruit and flower season, so be prepared for an onslaught of images of both.

These are greenhouse tomatoes, but they look delicious.
